Uniquip Group is a UK safety and access specialist made up of four brands: HiteGear for height safety equipment and PPE, HiteWorx for engineered rooftop access and fall protection systems, RampCo for loading ramps, and Lift ‘n’ Shift for steps and material handling. Between them they cover working at height, safe access, and loading for construction, facilities management, logistics, manufacturing, and warehousing.
If you need equipment your team wears or carries, such as harnesses, ladders, or fall arrest kit, that is HiteGear. If you need a permanent system installed on a building, such as a lifeline, walkway, or guardrail, that is HiteWorx. For loading vehicles, plant, or vans, that is RampCo. For steps and stock-handling trolleys, that is Lift ‘n’ Shift. If you are not sure, our team will point you to the right one rather than sell you the first thing that fits.
Personal fall protection equipment should be inspected before each use and formally examined at least every 12 months, and more often in demanding environments. Installed systems such as lifelines and anchor points also require periodic recertification. HiteGear and HiteWorx both support ongoing inspection and certification, so your records stay audit-ready rather than becoming a scramble before a site visit.
Yes. Products are supplied to meet the relevant UK and international standards, and installed systems from HiteWorx are tested and certified on completion. Height safety work falls under the Work at Height Regulations 2005, and lifting and access equipment is governed by LOLER and PUWER, so every recommendation is made with those obligations in mind.
Yes. HiteWorx designs and installs access systems around the specific building and task, starting with a free site survey. RampCo engineers modular and fully bespoke ramps to set dimensions and load capacities. When a standard product does not fit the situation, a made-to-measure solution is usually safer and works out cheaper across its life than forcing a compromise.
Yes. HiteGear runs height safety training covering working at height awareness, PPE selection, use and inspection, fall protection systems, rope access, and scaffold towers. HiteWorx provides training on any bespoke system it installs. This matters because a well-specified product only protects people if the team using it is competent, which is also what an auditor will want to see.
